5'5" Verdure - Alaris Twin

Designed for the days when it’s just a touch too soft for your shortboard but you’re still itching to lay rail and throw spray, the Alaris twin bridges that gap with style. It blends the looseness and glide of a fish with the responsiveness and attack of a high-performance twin.

Ride it with around 10% more volume than your standard shorty. That extra foam under your chest gets you in early, while the outline and rocker let you still surf top to bottom. We recommend upright "MR-style" twins to get the best out of the board’s pivot and drive, keels tend to anchor it too much.

Bottom contours are tuned for speed and flow: a flat entry for paddle power, transitioning to a subtle single concave under the front foot, and finishing with a touch of V between the fins to keep rail-to-rail transitions smooth and snappy.

Whether you're chasing speed down the line or drawing tighter arcs on a shoulder-high wall, the Alaris Twin keeps it fast, loose, and lively.
